Email support →No. Your journal entries are stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. We have zero access to your iCloud data.
The AI model (Gemma 3 1B) runs entirely on your device. Your entry text is never sent to any server for processing.
Local SwiftData (entries, insights) is deleted with the app. If you have iCloud enabled for MirrorNotes, your entries remain in iCloud. Reinstalling and using the same Apple ID will restore them via iCloud sync.
MirrorNotes waits until you have at least 7 entries before generating AI insights. This prevents weak, generic nudges. Keep writing, your first Daily Nudge will appear after Day 4.
No. Every feature, including all AI, is free during early access. There's no subscription to sign up for and nothing to cancel.
If you subscribed previously and still see a charge, subscriptions are managed by Apple: open iOS Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions, MirrorNotes, Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund from Apple.
Yes. All users keep all their entries forever. We will never lock, delete, or limit access to your existing entries, regardless of what's free or paid in the future.
In MirrorNotes: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your subscription status from RevenueCat. Your journal entries (stored locally and in iCloud) must be deleted separately.

The on-device model improves as you write more entries. Early nudges may be less precise. If you're seeing something completely off, email us, we may be able to improve the prompt for your next update.
Yes. Writing entries, reading past entries, full-text search, and all AI features work offline. An internet connection is needed only for: subscription validation and iCloud sync.
